PROJECTS
As a landscape designer, it has never been my instinct to bend nature to my will—rather, my work emphasizes long-term, sustainable and site-specific interior and exterior design; a patient, holistic approach, informed by research, study, and generational insight.
FRONT & YORK CONDOMINIUMSFor the FRONT & YORK CONDOMINIUMS in DUMBO, we created a green escape for residents and staff to enjoy year-round. Custom planters and trellises frame the space, filled with ivy, honeysuckle, and wisteria that add a lush, vertical vibe. Around these climbers, we added clusters of hardy perennials, including some native plants to keep things low-maintenance and eco-friendly. To keep the garden interesting across the seasons, we planted loads of horticultural bulbs for bursts of color and texture as they bloom. This setup combines structure and nature to bring a refreshing, inviting atmosphere right in the middle of Brooklyn. |
UPPER EAST SIDEThis elegant Upper East Side outdoor space was transformed into a lush, serene retreat through the use of both structural and vibrant plant material. Evergreen Magnolias serve as the striking focal points, adding grandeur and year-round beauty. Surrounding these majestic trees, a selection of Hostas, Boxwoods, and Ferns create a layered, verdant effect, balancing lush greenery with structural form. To further enhance the ambiance, a custom-made fountain was installed as a soothing centerpiece. Fiberglass planters were thoughtfully placed to define the perimeter, adding both form and function to this luxurious garden design. |
HELL'S KITCHENThis Hell's Kitchen terrace was transformed into a vibrant outdoor sanctuary, with a beautiful backdrop of Hydrangeas setting the scene for a whimsical array of plant material. Russian Sage, Liatris, and Boxwoods add both texture and color, creating a dynamic and engaging landscape. Framed by sleek fiberglass planters, the garden features structural Magnolias and Rhododendrons, bringing both height and year-round interest. To complete the space, we incorporated a mix of perennial fillers for added lushness. Custom lighting highlights key design elements, while a carefully integrated irrigation system ensures easy maintenance. Stylish outdoor furniture provides the perfect finishing touch, offering both comfort and elegance for this urban retreat.

UPPER EAST SIDEThis Upper East Side terrace was designed as a harmonious blend of style and sustainability, featuring a curated selection of ceramic and terracotta planters that add texture and elegance. Whimsical drought-tolerant plant material, including ornamental grasses, Agastache, Coneflowers, and Gaura, brings color and movement, while evergreen Conifers and Boxwoods provide a structured framework. To enhance the earthy, relaxed ambiance, we incorporated pea gravel, evoking a landscape reminiscent of the South of France. The integration of natural elements with the structured greenery creates a serene, Mediterranean-inspired urban retreat.

DUMBO, BROOKLYNFor this DUMBO rooftop space, we went with a modern, chic vibe using matte black fiberglass planters for a sleek look. Junipers add height and structure, while 'Bobo' Hydrangeas and Rhododendrons bring in softness with their lush blooms. We also added statement trees like Redbuds and Japanese Maples, which really stand out and add beautiful color. The overall design perfectly complements the industrial skyline of Brooklyn, creating a stylish yet calming outdoor retreat.
